My journey in CityNorth College by Sarah Barrett..
Community Healthcare 17/18.

Looking back now over my past year in CityNorth College, it brings back such wonderful feelings & emotions as it has definitely being a journey I will never forget.

Joining this course has given me more than I ever expected. It has given me the confidence to pursue a fantastic career in healthcare. Being in CNC has benefited me from the blended learning of the modules in College combined with my Work Placement.
Each day we would learn different aspects behind Healthcare from the way the body works down to the Kubler Ross :Stages of Grief.
This was the perfect mixture ,as once on Placement all this Information would automatically come into play,From looking after the daily needs of the Service users down to the heartbreaking loss of a dear resident . In class the next day , we as a group would debrief and work through all what happened in our Placement , as this is such first hand experience ,that is a magical source of learning.

I feel I have learnt so much about myself, the skills that I already had and the many other life skills that I have acquired.

Thank you to all the staff in CNC throughout the year. I felt that I got alot of support from all my teachers . They without a doubt really care for all their students and help each person to bring out the best in themselves.

I am now working full time as a healthcare assistant and continue to grow from strength to strength. This is just the beginning for me and I am so excited as to what lies ahead for me.

I recommend to anyone who is looking to learn more about Healthcare or start a new career that CityNorth College is the Place for You.

Do not let anything stop you from achieving your Goals.
Apply for this course today.
Sarah xx
